My Paint Zoom Review: Hear What a Smart Consumer Has to Say

I’m writing this Paint Zoom Review six weeks after purchasing the paint zoom. I’m one of those people who does a lot of research before purchasing online, I read a lot of paint zoom reviews before making the purchase myself.

Personally, I felt like some of those reviews were missing important details, so I’m creating this review after my experience in using the product myself.

My Five Point Paint Zoom Review

I’ll be covering five main points in this paint zoom sprayer review:

1.      What is Paint Zoom Sprayer and what does it do?

2.       How easy to use is Paint Zoom?

3.      What types of surfaces can you use paint zoom on?

4.      What are some potential Paint Zoom paint sprayer Problems?

5.      My Favorite thing about using Paint Zoom

Before getting into these five points of my paint zoom review, you should know that I’m one of those amateur handymen types. I enjoy doing work around the house, but at the same time I have very high standards. So anytime I find a new tool like paint zoom, my primary question is whether it’ll help me create a professional looking result.

As you’ll soon discover, Paint Zoom is a dream come true when it comes to getting that done without spending a lot of money…

What is Paint Zoom and What Does it Do?

The Paint Zoom sprayer is a portable painting tool which promises the ability to create professional looking paint job without the work involved from using brushes or rollers. The Paint Zoom Sprayer is portable and light weight at about 4 lbs when full. It also has a strap so that you can wear is like a backpack and carry the spraying extension in your hand. It has a 650 watt motor attached to a pump that sends the pain through the hose and out of the tip.

What I LOVE about this is I can carry all of my painting “tools” with me in this portable unit, saving me a lot of time and energy, especially when painting a large surface.

How Easy to Use is Paint Zoom?

I read some Paint Zoom reviews that said it was as simple as “pointing and spraying,” and I admit that it is pretty easy once you get the hang of it. However, if you think you’re going to plug this in, point, spray and end up with a polished professional looking paint job you’re mistaken. Everything takes at least a little practice to use and the paint zoom paint sprayer is no exception. When I first started using this, I overdid the spraying in certain spots and underdid it in others.

So I got the first wall of my living room done, but when I stood back it didn’t look as smooth as  I’d thought. I had to do a second coat to get it to that point. So just keep that in mind and get a little practice before you paint your entire living room.

What Types of Surfaces Can You Use Paint Zoom On?

I thought this was pretty cool, Paint Zoom works on any kind of surface, whether a smooth surface or a rough surface. It also works on the inside or outside of your home. Of course, you still have to make sure you do the regular things before painting outside like pressure washing the surface to ensure that your paint job doesn’t flake due to underlying dirt layers. You also want to make sure when you use it on smoother surfaces you don’t overdo it and end up with paint runs.

I didn’t personally test it on all these surfaces, but according to some of the more authentic sounding Paint Zoom reviews that I read and the details on their website, the Paint Zoom Sprayer works on brick, concrete, wood, drywall, stucco and paneling. Of course, I wouldn’t recommend trying it on metal surfaces or on automobiles.

What Are Some Potential Paint Zoom Problems?

I found very few negatives in the Paint Zoom reviews that I read or in my experience using it, but I wanted to cover a few potential Paint Zoom problems. First, even though the tool is clean and easy to use, it’s still a good idea to cover the things you don’t want to get paint on, especially when you’re first learning to use it. I saw that a few idiots actually complained about getting paint on things in their room…obviously they had never painted the inside of a house before.

Second, the Paint Zoom Sprayer is only four pounds, but after hours of painting even that can cause some fatigue, especially if you’re out of shape or have problems with your back or shoulders. I suggest giving yourself a break every 30 minutes to an hour or so and if you have a history of back problems don’t use it for too many hours at a time.

My Favorite Thing About Using Paint Zoom Sprayer

My favorite thing about using Paint Zoom was that it saved me a lot of time and honestly, as much as I hate to admit it, the end results is far better than anything I’ve produced with a brush and roller. Most of the time, the only reason to hire a professional painter is to save the time of doing it yourself or because you just can’t produce an end results you’re happy with. With Paint Zoom Sprayer, you get a great end result without feeling like you took on a second full time job to do so.

If that sounds good to you, Paint Zoom might be exactly what you need to save yourself both time and money in getting a professional looking paint job.

Conclusion

My final verdict is that the Paint Zoom is a steal at $99 plus the shipping and handling of $19.95. That’s just under $120, and considering that it can cut your painting time AT LEAST in half, the money you spend for it is a drop in the bucket. Plus, I think it’s pretty nice to tell your friends that you did the awesome paint job yourself. The Paint Zoom can be purchase in one payment or in three installments of $33 each. There is a thirty day money back guarantee so you never have to worry. In fact, you can try it for free and send it back within thirty days I you aren’t satisfied.

If you’re on the fence, I suggest you just get it and give it a shot for yourself…you won’t be disappointed. I hope my Paint Zoom Review helped you make a right decision.

Happy painting!
